Sews-Cabind Poland Company, specializing in wire harness manufacturing, exists at the Polish market since year 2001, when the company joined Sumitomo Group, one of the most powerful Japanese Company Groups.

Sumitomo Company Group

The roots of Sumitomo Group date over 400 years back when the Sumitomo Family went into copper production business. In the effect of constant development of production, the first Sumitomo shop with copper, named Izumiya, was opened. The Sumitomo Group logo originates from the word Izumi, and it depicts well’s frame. Also the present logo of Sews-Cabind Poland is based on it.

Sumitomo Group, being one of the biggest Japanese Company Groups, is a highly diversified conglomerate of enterprises, operating on such markets as: coal, metal, forest, chemical products, real estate, finance, transport market and many others. In the 20th century, the Group expanded its business into other fields such as life insurances and even airspace industry.

SEI Sumitomo Electric Industries, Ltd. is the branch of Sumitomo Group representing automotive section, and currently it is the leading manufacturing company in the international automotive market. SEI is directly responsible for sales sector; however, the production background is managed by its daughter company, which is SWS Sumitomo Wiring Systems, Ltd. One of its branches is Sews-Cabind S.p.a. which is headquartered in Turin, Italy.

Similar to the Japanese structure, Sews-Cabind S.p.a. Group is managing sales, while Sews-Cabind Poland Sp. z o.o. with head office in Zywiec and Sews-Cabind Maroc S.a.s with head office in Casablanca are responsible for the direct production.
