Sews-Cabind Poland Company, specializing in wire harness manufacturing, exists at the Polish market since year 2001, when the company joined Sumitomo Group, one of the most powerful Japanese Company Groups.
Where we are
The headquarter of Sews-Cabind Poland is located in Zywiec; a picturesque city situated in Zywiec valley, 90 km south-west of Cracow, the historical capital of Poland.
The city is one of the most popular touristic, cultural and industrial centers of the Podbeskidzie region within the boundaries of the Silesia voivodeship. Additional advantage of the city’s location is its short distance to borders of Slovakia and Czech Republic.
We have two production sites, both located in Zywiec, with the total area of 15 000 sq. m. With about 1100 people that we hire, we are one of the region’s largest employers. As a manufacturer of more than 900 types of wire harnesses for automotive industry, we are an important supplier for the European market.

Thanks to our employees’ efforts and their determination in introducing constant improvements Kaizen, our company is distinguished by our products’ high quality. All this leads to the optimization of solutions we have implemented so far and constant search for the new possibilities. We perform our daily duties basing on such fundamental concepts of Japanese philosophy as 6S rule or related to it PIKA Audit.
As the company of the Sumitomo Group, the worldwide leader in wire harness manufacturing sector for automotive market, we work on pokayoke solutions, we are engaged in wide range of Quality, Training and Health & Safety programs, such as: HAI-Q and HAI-C Actions, PIKA Activities and Audits, G-STARS Programs and Skill Olympic, or the proposal report system named Hiyari-Hatto.
Through raising own qualifications and participating in Yearly Event of Skill Olympic, our workers have the possibility to visit such far countries as Japan or Morocco and meet with people from all over the world.
Our positive results and the level of client satisfaction reflect our activities. Silver Award “Qualitas” for 2006, which we received in November 2007, constitutes an important proof of it. This Award is given by FIAT Group to the 30 best suppliers of automotive parts in the world.
We have managed to gain recognition within the Sumitomo Group. On 27th of August, 2009 SEWS-CABIND Group was awarded with “Glorious Excellent Company Award” for 2008. Since 2007 this award is given by SEI Group to the companies among the Group that show excellence in terms of management indicators such as profit and ROA, together with occupational safety and compliance.
